The PaCSON Executive Committee (EC) provides oversight and leadership on behalf of the whole PaCSON Community. The EC is a collective of three positions which have been voted on by PaCSON Members at the preceding years Annual General Meeting. The EC is empowered to make decisions on behalf of PaCSON and is responsible for the management and direction of PaCSON.

All PaCSON Members are eligible to nominate for all EC positions. The current structure of the PaCSON EC includes:

  • Chair – Cook Islands
  • Deputy Chair – Papua New Guinea
  • Incoming Chair – Kiribati

The terms of the three EC seats commence at the conclusion of each PaCSON Annual General Meeting and conclude at the conclusion of the following Annual General Meeting, approximately 12 months from the date of commencement. The EC is supported in all matters by the PaCSON Secretariat, and are collectively responsible for representing the PaCSON community.
